Mid-year of 2011, Pierre workers successfully completed the installation of the landscape and irrigation portion for the Medical Office and Hospital’s main entry at Kaiser. After that, Pierre workers stayed onsite to complete the landscape and irrigation of the hospital’s new addition. A large portion of the job included multiple installations of large palms and relocation of existing palms. Due to its geographical location, heavy winds made the installations a tedious task to complete. Hydrolic cranes were used in the process, and workers' efforts kept the jobsite completely safe and a huge success. Various box trees were included in the installation that are sure to grow out and provide shade to patients in the summer. As reflected by the photos taken, the multiple species of shrubs installed have also played a tremendous role in the installation process. All of the plants and shrubs were hand placed and methodically planted to ensure a perfect installation. Vibrant colors such as violets, bright greens, and ruby reds are all present in various locations surrounding the hospital.
