The Forum

The Client

Clark Construction Group is one of the most experienced and respected building and civil construction firms in the United States. American owned and operated since 1906, Clark has grown from a small local excavator into one of the most capable and trusted providers of construction services. As one of the nation's most established firms, they have a long-term perspective that is invaluable in the construction industry. Clark's portfolio features projects of all sizes and scopes, from intricate interior renovations to some of the most complex civil operations in the country.

The Project

Originally designed in 1967, the Forum, presented by Chase was “reinvented” nearly fifty years later, resulting in a world-class entertainment venue bridging its iconic past with today’s state-of-the-art technology and amenities. In seven short months, Clark’s team brought the new vision of the Forum to life, including the renovation of the 40,000 square foot outdoor terrace surrounding the perimeter of the building. Pierre crews amended 45,690 square feet of soil and installed 29 automatic sprinkler zones, which included 1,260 linear feet of mainline and 603 sprinkler heads. New plantings included 685 flats of ground cover, 2,272 plants in five-gallon or fifteen-gallon pots, 89 trees ranging in size from fifteen-gallon pots to 60” boxes, and 21 palms (Chamaerops humilis, Archontophoenix Cunninghamiana, and Phoenix Dactylifera ‘Medjool’). Complete with 255 cubic yards of mulch spread over the soil, the outdoor terrace now offers upgraded food and beverage amenities to elevate the guest experience.
